Saif Ali Khan Discharge: Five days after being attacked at his home in Bandra, Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was finally sent home from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday. After the attack on January 16, the star had major surgery and then went home with Kareena Kapoor Khan. After getting stabbed, Saif got six injuries and has now been told to rest completely.
Five days after being attacked at his home in Bandra, Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was finally sent home from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday. An NDTV story says the actor went home with Kareena Kapoor Khan on Tuesday afternoon after having major surgery on January 16 after the attack.
According to reports, Saif had six cuts. Two of them were pretty deep, and one was close to his spinal cord and caused spinal fluid to leak out, according to doctors. The doctors at Lilavati Hospital who are treating Saif also carefully removed a 2.5-inch broken knife blade from his back. He has been told to stay in bed for the rest of the day.
The person who attacked Saif was caught on Sunday in a Thane work camp. According to police, the attacker, Mohammed Shehzad, broke into Saif’s house early on January 16 with the goal to rob it. When the actor tried to stop him, Shehzad attacked Saif, hurting him six times.
The cops said that Shehzad is from Bangladesh and has been living in Mumbai illegally for a few months. Reports also said that police found out that Shehzad was the national wrestling winner for Bangladesh.
Saif, Kareena, and their kids have moved back into their old Bandra home. On Tuesday, police took the suspect to the home where the attack happened to re-create the scene of the crime.
