“Stree 2” maintained its impressive performance during its first weekend, surpassing the ₹100 crore milestone by the second day and earning over ₹145 crore by the end of the third.
In the weeks that followed, the movie kept up its momentum:
- First Week: Global collections surpassed ₹300 crore.
- Second Week: Attained a global box office total of ₹400 crore, making it the highest-grossing movie of 2024.
- Fifth Week: Accrued ₹16 crore more, making it the highest-earning fifth-week film in Indian cinema history.
With an opening gross of $2.57 million, “Stree 2” did remarkably well abroad, debuting in the top 10 at the U.S. box office. In Australia, it became the eleventh Indian film to earn over $1 million, and in the UK, it broke the record of £1 million for an Indian horror movie. The movie’s total box office receipts at the conclusion of its theatrical run were:
