About the movie.
Pushpa 2: The Rule continues the story from Pushpa: The Rise. It shows how Pushpa Raj, who started as a daily wage worker, now leads the red shoe smuggling operation. Rashmika plays the role of Srivalli, his wife, who defends him against his distant family. Fahadh plays a police officer named Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, who is still affected by the embarrassment he experienced in Pushpa: The Rise. The movie finishes by getting ready for a new story in Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
A day before the movie’s release, there was a sad event at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, where Arjun and the film’s team had gone to promote their film. On December 4, 2024, during the opening of Pushpa 2, a woman named Revathi died and her child, Sri Teja, was seriously injured.
The sad series of events started when a big crowd formed outside Sandhya Theatre to see the actress. Arjun was arrested and then freed after paying bail.
