Some people on social media thought that the Prime Minister would be the next guest on Kamath’s podcast. As you can see in the trailer, PM Modi told Kamath that he hopes the podcast’s listeners enjoy it.
“This is the first time I have appeared on a podcast. I don’t know how your viewers will react,” a smiling PM Modi said, as Kamath said it was a “huge” thing for him to sit and have a chat with the Prime Minister of the nation.
The trailer showed Kamath and PM Modi possibly talking about how politics, leadership, and business are all alike. “I don’t think anyone has talked about this as much,” he said.
“In a speech in Gujarat, when I was the CM, I had told people that I too had made a mistake, that I am a human being, not god,” PM Modi said.
Kamath, one of the founders of Zerodha, is also seen asking PM Modi about the world’s current state. There are wars going on in some places, like Gaza in West Asia and Ukraine in Eastern Europe.
“We have said that we are not neutral. We remain on the side of peace,” PM Modi is heard saying in response to Kamath’s question.
