Deva Movie Teaser: Shahid Kapoor Channels Amitabh Bachchan’s Raw Energy

The much-anticipated Deva movie teaser has taken Bollywood fans by storm! Shahid Kapoor, known for his intense performances, channels the charisma of Amitabh Bachchan while bringing his own raw energy, surpassing even his unforgettable role in Kabir Singh.

Deva teaser: The upcoming action thriller Deva has made a big announcement: Shahid Kapoor is back on the big screen, but this time he’ll be wearing khaki. The teaser is interesting because it doesn’t have any dialogue but is full of Shahid’s signature swagger and shows off his skill in action and dance scenes. A 52-second teaser for the movie says it will have thrilling action, mesmerising dance moves, and an intense plot.

At the beginning of the promo, Shahid is seen ruling the dance floor while a crowd of fans cheers him on. Even though his moves are impressive, there’s something strange about him. He wears a white shirt with uniform trousers, shoes and a gun in his holster. It’s clear from the teaser that Shahid plays a fearless police officer who will do anything to solve crimes and doesn’t feel bad about it.

There are action scenes in this intense avatar that are raw and unfiltered, and they promise to keep people on the edge of their seats. The way Shahid kapoor plays the part suggests a ferocity that might even be stronger than his Kabir Singh (2019). From fast chases to heart-pounding fight scenes, Shahid owns every scene. The teaser suggests that Deva will be even better than fans expect. The teaser ends with a tribute to Amitabh Bachchan, who was known as “Bollywood’s Shahenshah,” and his work. Shahid Kapoor plays Bachchan’s powerful aura with a modern twist.

Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulati, Pravesh Rana, and Kubbra Sait are also very important in the movie. Deva was written by Bobby-Sanjay, Hussain Dalal, Abbas Dalal, Arshad Syed, and Sumit Arora. It was directed by the famous Malayalam director Rosshan Andrews, who is known for hits like Udayananu Tharam (2005), Notebook (2006), Mumbai Police (2013), Prathi Poovankozhi (2019), and Salute (2022).

Vishal Mishra wrote the music for the movie, and Jakes Bejoy made the original background score. The cinematography was done by Amit Roy, and the editing and production design were done by A Sreekar Prasad and Sandeep Sharad Ravade. The movie Deva will come out on January 31.
